Jus' Words - Philly's modern day juke joint. Located just a block away from the historic Freedom Theatre in the midst of Temple University's main campus. All artists are welcome - comedians, vocalists, poets, musicians, and emcees. Come out, eat, drink, and be moved at Philadelphia's weekly progressive adult social event. Hosted by Ms. Wise, Queen Shakirah, and Mrs. Betty's Son aka Shyster.

They're also noted for providing a stage to many talented folks who never become famous, but who keep the art alive and growing for all to enjoy. The Jus' Words Open Mic is an important part of this tradition.
